yes your sun and warmth will return, but for now I escaped into the sleeping landscape ~ lovely my friend.
ty Jen. i spent all day out in our ’40 degree wind chill yesterday and i’m still ticking, lol
so i decided it’s time to rely on Faith, that the warming Sun will one day arrive again.
It shall mate, it shall, we are only starting to get warm days, summer is very late this time around. Just think when you are bathing in the glow, I shall be freezing my bits off! π
ha.’freezing my bits off’…another Aussie euphemism i might have to adopt.
well we all have ‘bits’ so be my guest ~ share the Aussie euphenisms I say! π
…sweet memories, drenched in warmth and Faith, nourishing famished sparrows (and their friends :)) amidst fragrant boughs, with the promise of the sun rising to illuminate icy, winter (and other) wonderlands. Such lovely images spun by you out of frigid filaments, Master Who–also rising triumphant. Shine on, my friend. xoxo
ohβ¦i’m really trying to shine Chloe! i think it’s time for my imagination to make an appearance,
to fly me away from my day to day doldrums. and ty,i really appreciate you and your incredibly inspirational comments.
Beautiful!
well ty Miranda and a very warm welcome to you, and ty as well for leading me to your writing which i am enjoying greatly.
Thank you for the warm welcome and your very kind words regarding my writing. I look forward to reading more of your lovely poetry!
you are most welcome Miranda, reading good writing inspires good writing.
Beautiful! 32c in Melbourne and the temperature is rising…
oh it’s so good to see you again laroseedespetiteschoses,
i’m not normally an envious person but your temps would
feel downright balmy compared to what we have right now!
Wonderful views and beautiful words. I love when others can also SEE.
well ty nutsfortreasure, my training as a painter has helped my writing immensely,
my favorite painting prof. taught us to always ‘LOOK’ and i have ever since.
Perfect! I agree! I have no formal lessons in the real arts just a few painting lessons as a child with a talented man in a wheel chair, who said I had a gift π I will take a one day lesson in watercolors mid Feb.. to see if there is anything hidden in this trucker π I do love and adore nature but I want to be open for anything that comes π
Thanks again for the pretty words.
This was so beautiful. A lovely peaceful feel. Thank you!! π
ty for ‘getting’ the peaceful intent here Skye. it’s not always easy
to retain that serenity here in a big city, writing has helped a lot.
I live in the country and still the noise in my head can drown out the silence…yes….writing helps a lot. π
It will indeed rise again and spring will come. Thank you for such hopeful words on this chilly chilly night.
you are most welcome wunderwench, so many of us need that Hope
in more ways than just the cold we are experiencing.
